Authorities said the two men deflated a tire on victim’s truck on June 8. Gillies then approached the victim and offered to help, entered the victim’s truck and stole cash and a check book, authorities said.

On June 15, Gillies told a different victim she had a flat tire and offered to help, authorities said. When the victim refused, Godfrey then offered help. Godfrey distracted the victim, and Gillies then entered the victim’s car and stole cash and debit cards, authorities said.

The cards were later used at a local business.
