Fayetteville's Dogwood Festival postpones Mini-Fest out of concern for safety

Westwood shopping center, where the event was to be held, is not hosting large events, in light of possible safety issues stemming from events around the country.

Fayetteville brings back Dogwood Festival

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Dogwood Festival announced Monday the postponement of the Mini-Fest events that were to be held April 23-25.

Westwood shopping center, where the event was to be held, is not hosting large events, in light of possible safety issues stemming from events around the country.

Dogwood Festival will turn now to rescheduling Mini-Fest for a date to be determined.

The festival said in a statement "We look forward to entertaining the community with the same slate of events as soon as is practicable."
