Fayetteville, N.C. — Fayetteville police have charged a man in connection with a fatal weekend shooting.
Officers responded early Sunday to 517 Odom Drive in reference to a shooting. They found Joshua Lane with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, where he later died, police say.
Another victim, Thomas Ferguson, suffered a gunshot wound to the leg while driving away from the residence, police say.
