Fayetteville police seeking suspect in deadly shooting

Fayetteville Police have identified a suspect in a shooting that killed a man on Thursday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville Police have identified a suspect in a shooting that killed a man on Thursday.

Police released two photos of a man they believe in a person of interest in the shooting death of Raymond Naper II, 21, of Fayetteville.

Officers responded just before 5 p.m. Thursday to a report of shots fired in the parking lot of 700 S. Reilly Rd. While conducting an investigation, they learned a man with a gunshot wound arrived at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
