FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are trying to identify a man they say spent more than $10,000 at a local jewelry store using a fraudulent credit card.

Police said the man bought two Rolex watches using the fake credit card and a Florida driver's license. He also defrauded a South Carolina store under similar circumstances, police said.

Anyone with information about the man's identity or whereabouts should call the Fayetteville Police Fraud Team at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-TIPS. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases, and callers never have to identify themselves.
