Fayetteville police seek to ID robbery suspect

Fayetteville police released video from a surveillance camera of a recent drug store robbery Wednesday, in the hopes of getting the public's help in identifying the suspect.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police released video from a surveillance camera of a recent drug store robbery Wednesday, in the hopes of getting the public's help in identifying the suspect.

Police said that a man entered the Walgreens store, at 1600 Skibo Road, around 8:30 a.m. on July 13 and demanded money from the clerk. Once he had cash, the robber fled in a silver or grey Chevrolet Impala driven by another man.

He is described as black, between 20 and 27 years old. He stands 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches and has a stocky build. He had a dark-colored shirt wrapped around his face and wore dark-colored shirt and shorts and white sneakers.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Fayetteville police at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that solve cases.
