Fayetteville police seek robbery suspect

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police asked Monday for help in locating a suspect wanted for robbery.

Police said Clarence Eugene Peterson, 18, approached a woman Friday night as she tried to make a deposit at Bank of America on 2901 Village Drive, showed a gun and took her deposit bad.

Peterson is wanted on charges of robbery with a deadly weapon, felony conspiracy, first-degree kidnapping and larceny of a motor vehicle. Police warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on Peterson’s whereabouts is urged to call police at 910- 433-1856. Callers can leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
