Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying family members of 86-year-old Benito Persampierir.

Update: Fayetteville police said Tuesday night that they have spokes with Persampierir's family.

Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying family members of 86-year-old Benito Persampierir.

Persampieri was found dead inside his home along the 5600 block of Weatherford Drive on April 23.

Detectives determined that he passed away from natural causes, but they have been unable to contact any of his family members.

If anyone recognizes the photograph of Persampieri and has information on how family members could be contacted, they are asked to contact Investigative Assistant W. Potter at 910-322-3307 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
