Fayetteville police seek drive-through ATM robber

Fayetteville police said Friday that they are looking for a man wanted in connection with an ATM robbery Sunday night.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police said Friday that they are looking for a man wanted in connection with an ATM robbery Sunday night.

The victim was withdrawing money around 9 p.m. at the drive-through ATM at a BB&T Bank branch at 2507 Bragg Blvd. when the robber walked up to the vehicle and pointed a semi-automatic handgun.

After robbing the victim, he fled on foot toward Bragg and Stamper roads. No one was injured, police said.

Investigators are looking for a black man standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds.

At the time of the crime, he was wearing a black shirt, black shorts and a black hat with a yellow bill.
