Fayetteville police say two women in hospital after shooting

— Fayetteville police said two women were rushed to the hospital after a shooting that happened early Tuesday.

Police received a call at 12:46 a.m. of a shooting into an occupied vehicle at the intersection of Murchison Road and Bragg Boulevard. Officials found a vehicle stopped in a left turn lane and two women inside suffering from gunshot wounds.

The two women were transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Their conditions were unavailable at this time.
