Two sought in Fayetteville convenience store robbery

Investigators on Friday released surveillance videos of a man, dubbed by police as the "North Face bandit," wanted in connection with several robberies in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are looking for two men who robbed a convenience store last month.

Investigators released security images Friday of the men during the Nov. 24 robbery at the Sunoco Major Mart, at 6295 Yadkin Road.

One of the men was described as being 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build and thin, shoulder-length dreadlocks with red/blondish tips. He wore a blue hooded sweatshirt and a surgical mask over his face.

The second man was described as being about 6 feet tall with a thin build and dreadlocks that stopped at his ears. He was wearing a blue-and-orange bandana and a black hooded sweatshirt with a white emblem on the back right shoulder.

Police said they were last seen getting into a white car.
