Fayetteville police launch death investigation after death of 21-year-old woman
Fayetteville police launched a death investigation Saturday after the death of a 21-year-old woman.
Posted — UpdatedOfficers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a home along the 600 block of Flintshire Drive around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
The preliminary investigation revealed the woman was found unresponsive in the home by a family member.
She was pronounced deceased on scene and will be sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine a cause of death.
Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit are investigating the death.
The name of the victim is being withheld until her additional family members have been notified.
