One person was sent to the hospital with a gunshot wound in an incident Fayetteville police were investigating Thursday night.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — One person was sent to the hospital with a gunshot wound in an incident Fayetteville police were investigating Thursday night.

Police said a man, who was not identified, was found with a gunshot wound to the leg in the 1200 block of Huntsman Circle. He had non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Fayetteville police continued to investigate the cause of the shooting.
