3 dead in 2 separate crashes in Fayetteville
Fayetteville police were investigating a fatal crash on Saturday evening, the second fatal crash of the day.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police were investigating a three-car fatal crash on Saturday evening, the second fatal crash of the day.
When first responders arrived at the crash on Bingham Drive at about 4 p.m., two people were pronounced dead. At least one car caught on fire, authorities said.
The road was closed for a few hours, but reopened at about 10:20 p.m.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department’s Traffic Unit at 910-433-1807.
Earlier in the day, at about 1:30 p.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the crash, which involved a sedan and a motorcycle.
Michael Rivas, 33, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Rivas was driving a 2014 Honda motorcycle at the time of the crash.
