Fayetteville Police Chief Gina Hawkins sworn in to presidential committee
Gina V. Hawkins, Fayetteville's police chief, was given a presidential honor on Wednesday.

WASHINGTON — Gina V. Hawkins, Fayetteville's police chief, was given a presidential honor on Wednesday.
Hawkins and other officers from across the country were sworn in to the Presidential Commission on Law Enforcement in a ceremony that included a speech from Attorney General William Barr.
The commission is made up of state prosecutors, police chiefs, federal agents, U.S. attorneys and other committed to justice and fighting crime.
