Fayetteville police asking for information on convenience store robbery

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are asking for information on a convenience store robbery.

The robbery happened just after 10 p.m. Sunday at the Sunoco on Raeford Road.

Police said a man entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money from the cash register. The clerk complied, and the man left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robber was wearing a black face mask, a black Smithfield hoodie, black gloves, dark-colored pants and red shoes.
