On Wednesday at 2:41 a.m., officers discovered that Mario Cogdell, 42, of Fayetteville cut and removed his GPS ankle monitor that was installed after he posted his secured bond.

Cogdell was out on bond for attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and larceny of a motor vehicle.

Members of the Fayetteville Police Department are actively looking for Cogdell at this time.

Cogdell is described as a 5'7" man weighing approximately 189 lbs. with black hair.

His direction and mode of travel are currently unknown.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Cogdell is asked to contact 911 immediately, Officer J. Rivera at 910-705-5955 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
