FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police said Friday that they have obtained arrest warrants for four people in the shooting death last year of a Fayetteville man whose final moments were streamed on the internet.

Calvin Blackshire Jr., 27, was gunned down at a Motel 6 on Cedar Creek Road on Jan. 19, 2017.

Police said they received a 911 call just before midnight alerting them that someone had been shot. Blackshire was pronounced dead at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Family members of a murdered Fayetteville man are hoping a public plea for help will give police the assistance they need to make an arrest.
A live video showing a dying Blackshire was streamed online for 10 minutes before help arrived, but police said last year that the person who shot the video wasn't a suspect in the case.

Adam Bradley Scott Golden, 23, Elvin Freeman Morrison, 21, of the 1500 block of Hasley Loop in Hope Mills, Iona Deja Shameka Thomas, 19, of the 1000 block of Quailwood Drive in Fayetteville, and Yasheika Zikyra West, 18, of the 2900 block of Salvone Court in Durham were each charged with first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Golden is incarcerated at Pasquotank Correctional Institution in Elizabeth City on unrelated charged, police said, but the other three aren't in custody.

Police didn't say what evidence linked the four to the crime.

Anyone with any information on th e whereabouts of Morrison, Thomas or West is asked to call Detective J.T. Hall with the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-729-2934 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
