A man found slumped over the steering wheel of a car in Fayetteville early Friday had been shot to death, police said.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A man found slumped over the steering wheel of a car in Fayetteville early Friday had been shot to death, police said.

Officers responding to a report of an unconscious man in a vehicle in the 300 block of Post Avenue at about 7:45 a.m. found Kotasha Griffith, 27, dead.

Investigators said Griffith had been in the vehicle for several hours.

No other details of the case were released.
