Cumberland County sheriff's deputies arrested a 22-year-old Fayetteville man for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old girl.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Cumberland County sheriff's deputies arrested a 22-year-old Fayetteville man for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old girl.

Investigators said that Jose Socorro Jaimes-Morales, of 5809 Glenpine Drive, became sexually involved with the girl between August and November.

Jaimes-Morales was charged with two counts of statutory rape, eight counts of statutory offense and two counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor.

He was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center. His first court appearance was set for Tuesday afternoon.
