Fayetteville man, 76, is safe and back at home

Arvill Mitchell Hicks, 76, has a cognitive impairment that requires medication, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

UPDATE: This Silver Alert was canceled at 10 a.m. Arvill Mitchell Hicks is safe and back at home.

A Silver Alert was issued for a missing Fayetteville man who requires medication.

Arvill Mitchell Hicks, 76, has a cognitive impairment that requires medication, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

Hicks is described as a white male who stands 6 feet tall and weighs 230 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Hicks was last seen Monday at approximately 3:30 pm when he left his home in the 5600 block of Caspian Court. He was last seen driving a 2013 cream-colored Cadillac CTS.

Anyone with information is asked to immediately contact 911 or Fayetteville/Cumberland County Crime Stoppers at 910-483-TIPS (8477).
