Fayetteville homicide victim identified; police searching for man believed to have info on death

Fayetteville police are looking for Reginald Wedner, who is believed to have information regarding the murder of Anthony Cogdell on Dec. 16.

— Fayetteville police have identified a man found dead inside a car on Dec. 16.

Anthony Cogdell, 44, was found shot in the 1300 block of Jacob Street.

Police are now looking for 23-year-old Reginald Wedner, who is believed to have information on Cogdell's murder.

Wedner is also wanted on charges of felony larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen goods and felony breaking and entering of a motor vehicle in connection with the theft of a car belonging to Fayetteville Alzheimer's and Dementia Care?.
