Fayetteville crash causes traffic problems
Fayetteville police reported a vehicle crash on Ramsey Street near Country Club Drive Wednesday morning. Power lines were down in the roadway, and traffic was being routed away from the intersection. Drivers should avoid the area for the next several hours, possibly until 10:30 a.m.

Ramsey Street at the VA Hospital is closed. Any citizen needing to get to the VA hospital is advised to use the northbound lanes and come from the downtown area.
Anyone trying to travel to a business or school north of the VA hospital is asked to use Country Club Drive. This includes parents or employees of Reid Ross, Nick Gerald and Lucille Saunders schools.
