Fayetteville bank robbed

The suspect was caught on surveillance video. He appears to be a white man, about 5'7" tall in his mid- to late-30s with blond hair. He was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt and orange baseball cap.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are looking for the person who robbed a First Citizen's Bank Wednesday morning.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video. He appears to be a white man, about 5'7" tall in his mid- to late-30s with blond hair. He was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt and orange baseball cap.

Witnesses reported that the man showed a weapon, but no one was injured in the robbery, which took place at the branch at 1701 Owen Drive just before 9:30 a.m.

The suspect left the bank on foot and was last seen in the area of Boone Trail.
