Fatal motorcycle crash reported in Garner

Garner, N.C. — One person was killed in a motorcycle crash in Garner midday Tuesday.
The crash occurred before 12:15 p.m. at Timber Drive and Aversbero Road near The Shops at Timber Landing.
Sky 5 video showed an overturned motorcycle in the road and a sedan with damage to its front right side.
Officers with the Garner Police Department were at the scene.
Information on the cause of the crash were not provided. No charges were filed.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area and can use Buffalo Road or Lakeside Drive as alternate routes.
