Activate Good's Fourth Annual Couture for a Cause kicks off this Saturday night, bringing together the community, nonprofit organizations and local designers for an evening of fun, live entertainment, fashion and fundraising.

The event kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh. In addition to the fashion show, there will be a cash bar and silent and live auctions.

Local designers were paired with some of Activate Good's nonprofit partners to design looks that reflect each organization's mission. The designer whose work best represents the organization he or she is paired with will win a prize in either the Couture or Ready-to-Wear categories.

Organizations being expressed through fashion include the Boys and Girls Club, The Salvation Army, Grow and Share, Urban Ministries of Wake County, the Neuse Riverkeeper Foundation and more.

Last year 400 guests attended Couture for a Cause – get your tickets now for this year! They are $25 in advance and can be purchased online. Tickets will be $30 at the door. VIP tickets are $75 and include a goodie bag, seating close to the runway, lounge access and food.
