FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Family and friends gathered on Saturday to bring awareness to the unsolved murder of a Fayetteville man.

Zavreail Holmes, 30, of 5748 Aftonshire Drive, was found dead in his home Oct. 8. Officers initially responded to a call reporting a suicide, but police determined the case was a homicide.

On Saturday those who knew Holmes posted fliers in his neighborhood and other locations.

Anyone with information about Holmes’ death is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
