A family was displaced after their house caught on fire Saturday afternoon in eastern Wake County.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A family was displaced after their house caught on fire Saturday afternoon in eastern Wake County.

The fire began at about 5:15 p.m. at 7011 Farmdale Road.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation late Saturday but firefighters said the home is a total loss.

The family who lived in the house is staying with relatives.
