Where is the Dreamville Festival 2024?

Dreamville Festival is a hip hop music festival created by Fayetteville native and rapper J. Cole. The festival is held at Dorothea Dix Park, Raleigh, NC's largest city park with more than 300 acres of greenspace, located at 1030 Richardson Drive in Raleigh. The annual event attracts thousands of people each year. The festival is named after J. Cole's label, Dreamville Records.

How to get to Dreamville Festival?

Official event parking is available at N.C. State's Centennial Campus, across the street from Dix Park. Parking can be purchased daily for $35 plus fees. Buy your parking in advance online. Upon arrival, drivers should have their receipt QR code open and ready to scan with brightness turned all the way up.
The festival has an official downtown shuttle to the park. The shuttle picks up at Moore Square and drops off at the West Entrance into Dreamville Fest, which is closer than walking from the official parking lot on Centennial Campus. Shuttle passes are $40 plus fees. The shuttle will run non-stop service from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. each day. Passes are good for the entire weekend.

If you are taking an Uber or Lyft, there will be drop off and pick-up zones.

You can also take your bike to the park. Bike parking is located at the corners of Centennial Parkway and Blair Drive and Western Boulevard and Hunt Drive.

Originally Chris Brown was set to headline on Saturday, but he was replaced by 50 Cent. The announcement came on Monday, April 1, which caused some to think it was an April Fool's Day joke. Spokesperson Trey Hicks said it was definitely not a joke.

What will weather be for Dreamville in Raleigh?

Weather has been an issue for the festival in the past, but this year the weather looks festival-friendly.

The weekend looks pleasant with highs remaining in the mid 60s for both Friday and Saturday, which should make for a comfortable time at the Dreamville Music Festival.

It may be cool at Dreamville, but festival-goers shouldn't have to worry about rain.

The first Dreamville was planned for 2018 but got pushed back a year due to Hurricane Florence. When the first event did happen in 2019, heavy rains leading up to the festival left Dix Park quite muddy.
