RALEIGH, N.C. — There is plenty to do in the Triangle this week!

Monday

New Found Glory (Cat's Cradle, 300 E. Main St., Carrboro) - The Florida rock band will play at 7 p.m. Tickets are $32.
Flash Chorus (Motorco Music Hall, 723 Rigsbee Ave., Durham) - Learn to sing Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy" and Billy Idol's "Dancing With Myself."
Franklin Street Comedy Festival (PIT Chapel Hill, 462 W. Franklin St., Chapel Hill) - The Franklin St. Comedy Festival is a jam packed week with parties, shows, workshops and the best comedy the Triangle scene has to offer.

Tuesday

NC Chinese Lantern Festival (Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - This amazing display of luminary art is open nightly, excluding Mondays, through Jan. 12.

Bellydancing and Beer (Fullsteam Brewing, 726 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham) - Enjoy live Middle Eastern music by the Lost Nomads with performances by local bellydance students and Undulation Nouveau.
Movember Party (Boxcar, 330 W. Davie St., Raleigh) - There will be a beard and mustache competition at 8 p.m., a Mario Kart tournament at 9 p.m., Thanksgiving beers and more. Proceeds go to a charity that promotes men’s health.

Wednesday

Cirque de Noel (Meymandi Concert Hall, 2 E. South St., Raleigh) - This show features stunning aerial feats flying high above the orchestra, mind-boggling contortions and jaw-dropping juggling acts all choreographed to holiday music by the North Carolina Symphony.
First Waltz (Lincoln Theatre, 126 E. Cabarrus St., Raleigh) - The concert features Hank, Pattie and The Current and Into the Fog.
Team Trivia (The Big Easy, 222 Fayetteville St., Raleigh) - Trivia starts at 8 p.m.

Thursday

Happy Thanksgiving! Many restaurants are serving lunch and dinner today. Here's a list of a few. There are also some races in Raleigh, including:
Trophy Trot 10K (1251 Goode St., Raleigh) - Burn off those holiday calories on Thanksgiving morning during this run starting at 8 a.m. All donations will go to Healing Transitions, which offers innovative peer-based recovery oriented services to homeless and underserved individuals with alcoholism.
Raleigh Turkey Trot (Wade Avenue and Ridge Road, Raleigh) - The race takes place at 8:30 a.m. at Ridgewood Shopping Center. The event includes an 8K race plus a 100-yard kids' dash. More than 3,000 are expected to participate!

Friday

Reggae on the Roof (Solas, 419 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh) - Mix, mingle, dance and enjoy food from Jamaica. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Christmas Carousel Holiday Gift Market (NC State Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh) - For over 32 years, this market has provided the Triangle with one of the largest collections of arts, crafts and holiday gifts ever assembled in one location. Shopping opens at 9 a.m.
20th Annual A Dickens Holiday - Historic downtown Fayetteville will be transformed into a unique holiday shopping experience. There will be carriage rides, Father Christmas and a visit from Ebenezer Scrooge.
Ali Siddiq​​​​​​​ (Goodnights, 861 W. Morgan St., Raleigh) - People received their first taste of Ali Siddiq when he appeared on HBO's "Def Comedy Jam" and "Live from Gotham" and in 2013 he was named Comedy Central's "#1 Comic to Watch." He'll perform in Raleigh through Dec. 1.
