Monday

Leon Bridges (Red Hat Amphitheater, 500 S. McDowell Street, Raleigh) - The American gospel and soul singer, songwriter and record producer is from Texas.
Mike Farris (Motorco Music Hall, 723 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham) - The founder and lead singer of Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies has been a solo act since 2001.

Tuesday

Animalweapon (The Pour House Music Hall, 224 S. Blount Street, Raleigh) - Animalweapon is an electronica/trip-pop band from Raleigh.
Wolf Parade (Cat's Cradle, 300 E. Main Street, Carrboro) - The indie rock band was formed in 2003.
Women's Equality Day (Tobacco Road Sports Cafe, 1118 Environ Way, Chapel Hill) - Join the League of Women Voters of Orange, Durham and Chatham counties for cocktails and conversation with elected officials. The program is free and open to the public, and a cash bar will be available.

Wednesday

Market on Market (Exchange and Market Plaza in downtown Raleigh) - The market is open weekly from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Pickin' in the Pines (Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - Enjoy bluegrass music outdoors. Picnics and leashed pets are allowed. Tickets are $5.
Opening Splash Pool Party (Unscripted Hotel, 202 Corcoran Street, Durham) - Tickets are $50 for this pool party which includes a DJ, summer grill fare by Unscripted and Neomonde and spirits and brews from Bedlam Vodka, Graybeard and the Durham Distillery. Each ticket includes the first two drinks.
Breathing new life into the old Jack Tar Motor Lodge at 202 N. Corcoran St., Unscripted Durham is a mid-century design icon reimagined.
1990s Music Bingo (Neptunes Parlour, 4 W. Martin Street, Raleigh) - The free game starts at 8:30 p.m. 21 and up only.

Thursday

Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime (The Ritz, 2820 Industrial Drive, Raleigh) - The Rhode Island-based tribute band is dedicated to playing the music of Sublime.
Top Secret Stand-Up Confidential (Goodnights, 861 W. Morgan Street, Raleigh) - Goodnights hand-picked some of their favorite stand-up comics from around the country to perform secret, one-off shows.

Back Porch Music on the Lawn (American Tobacco Campus, 318 Blackwell Street, Durham) - Lilly Hiatt will perform from 6 to 9 p.m.

Friday

Fireworks and Food Trucks (Durham Bulls Stadium, 409 Blackwell Street, Durham) - Enjoy food trucks and fireworks during the game.
Award Winners Beer Dinner (Oak & Dagger Public House, 18 Seaboard Avenue, Raleigh) - Celebrate the end of summer with award-winning beers and a special food pairing and commentary by Master Brewer Pete McCabe. Tickets are $50.
GlowRage (Lincoln Theatre, 26 E. Cabarrus Street, Raleigh) - During this dance party, GlowRage staff launch gallon after gallon of neon paint into the crowd while DJs perform. Tickets start at $18.
NCMA Outdoor Movie
Outdoor Movie: Yellow Submarine (N.C. Museum of Art, 2110 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh) - See the movie outdoors on the big screen.
