Monday

Fictionary (Fullsteam Brewery, 726 Rigsbee Ave, Durham) - This is a game of real words and fake definitions. Four rounds start at 8 p.m.
D Wilkes and The Legendary Shack Shakers (Pour House Music Hall, 224 S Blount Street, Raleigh) - On stage, JD has been compared to the likes of Iggy Pop, David Byrne, and Jerry Lee Lewis. See the show at 8 p.m.
Won't You Be My Neighbor? (check event listing for showtimes) - The incredible Mister Rogers documentary continues this week.

Tuesday

Beer and Banjos (The Raleigh Times, 14 E. Hargett Street, Raleigh) - Enjoy a music series focused on traditional and acoustic music from the region of North Carolina and the Appalachian Mountains. This event is held every Tuesday.
Open Mic Night (Deep South the Bar, 30 S. Dawson Street, Raleigh) - Open mic night starts at 7:30 p.m.
A coffee porter and the Moravian Rhapsodyat  Raleigh Brewing Company.
Yoga on the Lawn (Oak City Brewing Co., 616 N. First Avenue, Knightdale) - The classes are pay-what-you-can.

Wednesday

Father John Misty (N.C. Museum of Art Park, 2110 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh) - Father John Misty will play an outdoor concert along with special guest Jenny Lewis.
Janet Jackson (Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek, 3801 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh) - Lawn tickets start at $29.
Wind Down Wednesday
Wind Down Wednesday (Waverly Place, Cary) - Enjoy free, live music on the lawn and eats from surrounding restaurants.

Thursday

An Evening with the Tar Heel Traveler (Campbell University, 143 Main Street, Buies Creek) - WRAL's Scott Mason shares the stories behind the Emmy award-winning Tar Heel Traveler stories. This event is hosted by the Fuquay-Varina Arts Council Writers Guild.
Band of Oz (North Hills, Raleigh) - The band will play a free show in the North Hills commons area.
Movies in the Garden ( Louise "Scotty" Stephenson Amphitheatre at Raleigh Little Theatre) - Enjoy competitions, food trucks and a family-friendly outdoor movie. This week's screening will be "Sister Act."

Friday

Sir Walter Miler (Meredith College, Raleigh) - Now in its fifth year, this event features Elite Men’s and Women’s Mile races, a Run Club Mile and a Run Club 4×400 meter Relay. There will be Korean street food from Bo's Kitchen.
Cosmic Charlie (Lincoln Theatre, 126 E. Cabarrus Street, Raleigh) - Tickets for the 9 p.m. show are $12.
Flashback Friday Concert Series (Crossroads Plaza, Cary) - This free event features music from the 70's, 80's and 90's, face painting and a bounce house.
Paperhand Puppet Intervention: In the Heart of the Fire
Paperhand Puppet Intervention: In the Heart of the Fire (Forest Theatre, 123 S. Boundary St., Chapel Hill) - This breathtaking show features giant puppets. Tickets are available at the door for a suggested donation of $15.
