Dolly Parton in Durham for 'Better Day' world tour

— Dolly Parton makes a stop in Durham Tuesday for her sold-out show at the Durham Performing Arts Center.

The 65-year-old country music legend is on a 45-city world tour in support of her latest album, "Better Day."

The Better Day World Tour began last month in Knoxville, Tenn., and is expected to run in the U.S. and Europe before it ends in November

"Better Day," Parton's 41st album, was released in June.

She is among a long list of artists scheduled to perform at the DPAC this year.

Others include Steely Dan, The Monkees, Steve Earle, Earth, Wind and Fire, Blondie, Elvis Costello, Adele, Aretha Franklin, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn and Kenny G.
