Comin' in Hot! Food trucks rolling into Raleigh with style at Thursday's 'Food Truck King'

Food trucks, local craft beer and live music....and it's free to attend!

Start your engines and loosen your belts!

Walk, R-Line, bike or drive yourself to downtown Raleigh for Food Truck King this Thursday, October 20th from 5 until 9:30pm in City Plaza.

This is a free event featuring live music from national recording artists Annuals, big time locals Jack the Radio and guest singer Pam Saulsby, news anchor from WRAL-TV5.

Also on the docket are fire dancers, circus performers, local craft beer and a food truck contest with the following trucks competing for the title of Food Truck King:

Chirba Chirba
Farmhand Foods
Klausie's Pizza
Kona Ice
Localmotive
Old North State BBQ
Only Burger
Parlez-Vous Crepe
Slippin Sliders

Beer will be provided by PBR, Aviator Brewing and Carolina Brewing Company.

Hosted by Raleigh Downtowner Magazine and Hurricane PR, Food Truck King is a benefit for Meals on Wheels of Wake County, with 100% of net proceeds donated to this worthwhile non-profit organization.

Food Truck King is free to attend but special VIP Tasty Tickets are available to just 250 attendees to sample tasty treats from ALL food trucks and includes two free beers and a chance to win part of $250 worth of gift certificates to local restaurants.
