One of my great pet peeves: The misuse of quotation marks. Many people believe that quotation marks should be used to emphasize a word or phrase.
No. They're not.
My WeatherCenter pal Mike Moss sent me a link to Unnecessary Quotes, a blog that collects pictures of those misused and abused quotation marks in action.
"Fresh" fruit cup, anyone? Sushi-grade "salmon"?
