So, the big thing on the Facebook right now is creating your own random album cover.  I thought we'd have our own little contest here on WRAL.com to find the best random cover.

Here's how it works:

1. Click here to get a random Wikipedia article.  That's your band name.

2. Click here to get a list of random quotations.  The last four or five words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your album.

3. Click here for a list of interesting Flickr pictures from the last week.  The third picture will be your album cover.

4. Use Photoshop, GIMP or a similar program to put it all together.

5. E-mail the finished product to me at bshrader@wral.com

Here is a link to the entries we have so far.  I'll add them as I receive them in e-mail.

We'll pick two winners: Funniest album cover and best-designed album cover.  I'll announce the winners tomorrow morning around 7:45 and 8:45 on WRAL News on Fox 50.

Now, the big prize is... get ready... a WRAL News pencil!  This is from my personal collection.  I went down to the WRAL Strategic Pencil Reserve and made a withdrawal a couple of months ago.  Supplies are dwindling, so the value of these fine writing instruments increases by the day.

Good luck!
