Meteorologist Mike Moss in the Weather Center got an e-mail from a viewer who wanted to know about recent aerial photos of the Houston and Galveston areas since Ike. They had a beach house and wanted to see how it fared.
NOAA has a collection of high-resolution aerial images taken since Ike. The image files are rather large, but the quality is sharp.
You also can download overlays for Google Earth with the latest aerial photos. PC World has a good article with links to post-Ike and post-Gustav overlays.
