Regulating Hollywood Violence?

We had a spirited discussion here on the blog last week about the Cho video. Thanks to everyone who left their comments.
I found this article in Broadcasting & Cable magazine this morning. It's an interesting read for anyone who wants to know more about the media's response to the massacre, both at the local and national level.
It also describes some new calls for the government to regulate violence in the media. The article says Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W. Va.) wants to give the FCC power to regulate violence. It has bipartisan support.
What do you think? Should the government regulate violence on your TV set, or should individuals be able to vote by changing the channel?
