Elmo (or Melmo, as my 18-month-old calls him) is back in Raleigh for a big live show at the RBC Center this June.

There will be six performances of "1-2-3 Imagine! with Elmo & Friends" from Friday, June 3, through Sunday, June 5. Tickets for all performances officially go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday.

But the folks at the RBC Center were kind enough to give us a special presale code good for now through 11 p.m. Sunday. The password is SUNNY. To get the promotion, click here, pick the show you want to go to and then be sure to type in SUNNY in the box where it says "presale or promotion ticket selection."

These Sesame Street Live productions are always a huge attraction. According to the press release, this year's show begins as Sesame Street's mail carrier, Sam, stops by to deliver special postcards from far away places.

The release continues: "When Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and friends wish to visit the exciting locations, Sam shares her secret on how they can – it’s as easy as counting “1-2-3 Imagine!” Ernie’s imagination takes him to the high seas to captain the ‘Good Ship Rubber Duckie’, Elmo dances to the rhythm of the African rainforest and Bert meets an octopus who has the blues. It’s a story of adventure and fun that teaches children they can be anyone, do anything and go anywhere with the power of imagination."

Showtimes are 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. June 3; 10:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. June 4; and 2 p.m. June 5. Tickets are $12, $17 and $22 with a limited number of $32 Gold Circle seats and $50 Sunny Seats. On opening night, all seats (except Gold Circle and Sunny Seats) are $12 as part of a special discount.
