Elmo coming to Raleigh

Everybody's favorite furry red monster is headed to the RBC Center for a big show in June.

Get ready for Elmo and friends, who will be making their stop at the RBC Center in June with the Sesame Street Live "Elmo's Green Thumb."

The show runs from June 3 to June 6. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. April 12.

This is the 30th season of the Sesame Street Live touring production. In "Elmo's Green Thumb," you'll watch as Elmo searches for a good home for his sunflower, Sunny, who he has raised from a seed. All the usual Sesame Street friends, including Big Bird, Abby Cadabby, Zoe, Telly and more, will help out. Kids will learn all about our ecosystem.

Tickets are $12, $17 and $22. A limited number of $32 Gold Circle seats are also available. There's a special deal for the 7 p.m. June 3 opening night show - all seats are $12 (excluding Gold Circle).

And there's a special $50 Sunny Seat VIP package for all Saturday June 5 performances. Each Sunny Seat includes a VIP Floor Seat, show program for every child, and a pre-show meet & greet photo opportunity with Elmo.
