Eight arrested in connection with firing shots near downtown Raleigh
Eight people were arrested and charged in connection to a series of incidents on Monday, Raleigh police said.

At about 2 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to a call of shots fired at St. Augustine Avenue and Boyer Street. Less than 10 minutes later, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 1000 block of East Davie Street.
Just before 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a call of shots fired near Battery Drive and Poole Road, and a second call was made about shots fired in the 100 block of South Fisher Street.
No one was injured in the shootings.
Those arrested and charged in connection with the shootings are:
- Khadijah Dashauna McNeil, charged with seven counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle
- Bareatta Lamer Milhouse, charged with seven counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle
- Messiah Etheridge, charged with seven counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle
- Taheim Daquan Bridges, charged with seven counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle, felony possession of firearm by juvenile, felony breaking and entering of a vehicle, larceny of a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon
- Jerrell Rashad Miller, charged with seven counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle
- Tyron Markeith Miller, charged with seven counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle
- Jeremy Hinton, charged with seven counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle
- Waamiq Anthony Boyd, charged with seven counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle
