RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh coffee cafe is offering customers a chance to "do good" without doing anything extra.
On Saturday, half of Sola Coffee Cafe's revenue was donated to Hurricane Florence relief efforts. The next fundraising day will be Nov. 7 and will benefit the efforts of Samaritan's Purse down east.

"After the hurricane hit, and after seeing all the pictures and all the families who lost homes, the kids who can't go to school, it just touched our hearts and made us want to give back," said Sally Luther, the daughter of Sola's owner who has worked at the cafe for six years.

"I think it's wonderful," said Marci Garnes, a customer who has family living in the hurricane ravaged area and is afraid eastern North Carolina could be forgotten in a quickly changing news cycle. "It's something so simple -- I can get something to eat and help out the people down east."

"I think we all need a lot of help," said Luther. "If we can raise some money and help them out, I think it's a great cause."
