RALEIGH, N.C. — A North Carolina grocery chain that has been around for 45 years is going to close this week.

A sign outside Earth Fare reading "Last 3 Days!" is very disappointing to many Triangle customers, many of whom say this is the only place they can find certain specialty foods for their food allergies or dietary preferences.

A statement from the company said they’re not in a financial position to continue.

Employees of Earth Fare filed a class action lawsuit saying they weren’t given enough notice about the closure.

Some of the highest performing stores could be bought out, and officials said bidding is already underway. Because everything inside will be liquidated, there’s a chance to get some last-minute deals before Earth Fare closes its doors for good. Everything inside is between 60-80% off.
