Durham woman wanted in church break-in turns herself in

A Durham woman accused of breaking into a church to steal food turned herself in Monday night, police said.

DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham woman accused of breaking into a church to steal food turned herself in Monday night, police said.

Georgetta Ray, 38, of Dorothy Drive, is charged with breaking and entering and larceny for allegedly stealing meat and other food from the refrigerator at Asbury Temple Church, at 201 South Alston Ave., on Sept. 21.
