DURHAM, N.C. — Catherine Ferrell may be 106 years old, but she did not let that stop her from voting on Tuesday morning.
"I lived during a time when you couldn't vote," she said. "I have never missed a voting opportunity.”
Ferrell, of Durham, said her grandson took her to the polls, and she urged everyone to get out and vote.
“You don’t know what you’re missing. When people are mad about the issues, you should have gone and voted," she said.
“If I can go at 106, everyone should go. Don’t complain about what happens if it doesn't go your way.”
