Durham woman reportedly kidnapped, raped

Chapel Hill and Durham police were searching for a group of men accused of kidnapping and raping a Durham woman multiple times.

DURHAM, N.C. — Chapel Hill and Durham police were searching for a group of men accused of kidnapping and raping a Durham woman multiple times.

The woman told police three men grabbed her in a parking lot outside the Colonial Apartments, 2920 Chapel Hill Road, early Monday, and forced her into a blue, four-door Honda, Chapel Hill police said.

The woman said the men drove her to three spots and assaulted her at each one. She managed to run away, knocked on a door and asked a resident to call 911, officers said.

Police from Chapel Hill and Durham were investigating the crime. They had not made any arrests late Tuesday.
