Durham woman killed in accident at Pilot Mountain
A 30-year-old Durham woman was killed in an accident at Pilot Mountain State Park on Monday.

PINNACLE, N.C. — A 30-year-old Durham woman was killed in an accident at Pilot Mountain State Park on Monday.
Surry County emergency officials said the fall was reported around 3:45 p.m.
When they arrived, officials said, the woman was unresponsive after falling "from a great height."
The woman, whose identity has not been released, died at the scene.
The state County Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the death.
