Durham woman charged in domestic assault
A Durham woman is charged with cutting a man with a piece of glass during a domestic assault Sunday morning, according to the Durham County Sheriff's Office.

The man, whose name wasn't released, was cut on the forehead and taken to a local hospital, sheriff's deputies said.
Deputies responding to a call about the assault at 6343 Guess Road around 5:20 a.m. found Gloria Jane Brown, 55, walking down the road a short distance away.
Brown was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. She was placed in the Durham County jail and denied bond because of the domestic nature of the assault, deputies said.
