Durham receives grant to help bring outdoors closer to home
The National Association of City Transportation officials awarded the city $25,000 in pandemic recovery funds to add five more streets to its Shared Streets program.

THEY AWARDED THE CITY $25,000 AND PANDEMIC RECOVERY FUNDS TO ADD FIVE MORE STREETS TO ITS SHERROD STREET PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM TEMPORARILY CLOSES PARTS OF STREETS TO TRAFFIC IN NEIGHBORHOODS TO GIVE MORE ROOM TO BE OUTSIDE.
