DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police investigators are asking for the public's help to identify and find two people who may have information on a Friday afternoon shooting in which a school bus driver was hurt.

Police released what appears to be surveillance images of two people whom investigators are trying to identify.

The statement did not elaborate on how the pair may have been involved in the incident.

According to police, the bus had stopped in the 1800 block of Cheek Road around 3 p.m. to allow students off when a bullet struck the upper front windshield of the bus. Investigators believe the bullet came from a passing vehicle.

None of the students was injured.

The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment and later released, the statement said.

Anyone with information about the incident or the identities of the two people who may have information is asked to call Investigator J. Harris at 919-560-4281, ext. 29120.
